Food Fight! – An Interactive Book by Glenn Melenhorst

  • November 29, 2010 10:26 pm

Food Fight! – An Interactive Book by Glenn Melenhorst is a great book-as-an-app. The chance to read with your child is no longer lost on the form factor of a phone. We read ours on the iPhone 4 and you can tell my 3 year old really likes to turn the pages and press each picture to hear what it has to say.

Park Math by Duck Duck Moose

  • November 26, 2010 7:42 am

Park Math by Duck Duck Moose is another of the neat games from Duck Duck Moose. This one is has the most learning potential and does a great job of capturing the attention of my 3 year old. She loves to play and is learning at the same time. We actually recorded several videos of this game since she plays it so much.

A great purchase.

Toy Story 3 Matching Game is just one of those games kids like to play. It has familiar characters and the graphics feel like watching a movie at home. The gameplay is a large card matching game and is very interesting to a 3 year old.

Old MacDonal by Kiboomu

Kiboomu apps are great. So far we have seen two. Each with a piano to play and a song to sing along with. My 3 year old loves them.

The latest app is Old MacDonald and is just as fun as Twinkle Twinkle.
